Mediterranean is a scientific association intended to foster the development of medical and biological ultrasound in Africa and the Mediterranean countries.

As multinational and multidiciplinary assocation, MASU is concerned with all medical and biological applications of ultrasound, and promotes cooperative research activities with experts coming from different countries.

With this end in view, MASU will hold an international scientific congress to report original works in ultrasound, an international post-graduate course, and will pursue publishing initiatives (a scientific review, videotapes, etc.).

MASU is also planning to grant fellowship to young echographers in order to make them fully acquainted with the most advanced applications of ultrasound in the fields of diagnosis, treatment and research activities.
