Gaetano Bottazzi,
born in Piacenza, Italy, on october 29th, 1957
- I graduated in medicine and surgery at University of Medicine in Parma (Italy) in 1983
- specialized in diabetology at University of Parma in 1986
- specialized in cardiology at University of Parma in 1990
1985 - I wrote my first computer program in 1985 using BASIC on an Apple IIc, "The Adventures Of Little Red Riding Hood", later ported on Macintosh
1988 - I started to write freeware applications for the Mac, mainly using HyperCard (too many to mention)
1988 - Editor for Italian Macintosh magazine "Apple Soft"
1988 - Producer of first Italian magazine on floppy "HyperGazette" (4 numbers edited)
1988 - I wrote the book "HyperTalk, the language of HyperCard" (Jackson, 504 pages, Italy)
1989 - I wrote the book "HyperTalk, an advanced guide" (Jackson Books, 300 pages, Italy)
1989 - Editor for M Macintosh Magazine
1990 - I wrote the book "Macintosh School" (Franco Muzzio, 216 pages, Italy)
1991 - I fully wrote Rocefin Number 1, a multimedia brochure for Roche Italy; Roche wanted the program to run on an IBM platform, but after seeing the Mac version they bought their first Apple Macintosh. I used SuperCard (Plus for the Windows version)
1992 - I fully wrote Vitamins, a training program on vitamins for Roche Italy
1993 - created Medicopoli, a virtual town created for the training of pharmaceutical products vendors; for Roche Italy
1994 - I fully wrote Leonardo, a program for neurological diagnosis, for Roche Italy; Roche bought more than 100 Macintoshes (LCIII) to make it run in hospitals and universities in Italy
1995 - I wrote Norvasc Number 1, a multimedia training program for Pfizer, Italy
1995 - I wrote Hypertensione, a multimedia program on Hypertension, also in HTML version, for Roerig, Italy
1995 - I wrote a new rewritten version of Medicopoli for Pfizer Italy
1996 - I wrote Antique Macintosh, a multimedia program about the story of the Mac (even avaiable in an html abriged version on the web, at: www.agonet.it/blue/Antique/Antique.htm
